Welcome ... | | The Dumbarton Bridge | | | | | | | | | |
The Dumbarton Dialogue Project is working to build collaborative leadership in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, and surrounding communities to interface with the Dumbarton-101 Corridor Traffic Impact Mitigation efforts. Commissioned in 2004 by the City of East Palo Alto as the Dumbarton Dialogue Project, the initial year-long project phase features the facilitation of two(2) 'Traffic Academies.' The University 101-Traffic Academy offers training to increase the effectiveness of its attendees in the traffic related public hearings being conducted by various state, county, regional and city agencies. The project seeks to reduce barriers to effective local participation in public input processes and to strengthen community bonds by bringing together professionally, ethnically, geographically diverse stakeholders with a common interest in enabling our communities to solve regional challenges.
This website exists to facilitate a regional dialogue on the mitigation options and issues.
